    Privacy Policy

    Overview

    Vesti ("we", "us") is a personal wardrobe app that helps you catalogue your clothes,
    build outfits, and get styling suggestions. This policy explains what we collect, why, and
    the choices you have.

    Information we collect

    Account details: your email, and a display name if you add one. If you sign in
    with Apple or Google, we receive a basic identifier and email from that provider.

    Wardrobe content: the clothing items, outfits, photos, and details you add, plus a
    log of when you mark items as worn.

    App usage: minimal technical information needed to operate the app. We do not use
    third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

    How we use your information

    To provide the core app (storing and syncing your wardrobe), to power the optional AI features you
    choose to use, and to keep the app secure. We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising.

    AI features and third parties

    When you use an AI feature, the relevant content (for example, the photo you are tagging or the
    message you send the Style Advisor, with the wardrobe details needed to answer) is sent to our AI
    provider, OpenAI, to generate a response. This processing may occur outside the EU (in the United
    States). We send only what is needed and do not use your data to train models.

    We rely on Supabase (authentication, database, and encrypted file storage, hosted in the EU – Ireland)
    and OpenAI (AI processing). Apple and Google are used only if you choose their sign-in option.

    Storage & security

    Your account and wardrobe data are stored on Supabase infrastructure in the European Union (Ireland).
    Photos are kept in a private bucket, accessible only through short-lived signed links tied to your
    account. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is restricted so you can only read and
    write your own data.

    Retention & deletion

    We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete individual items and outfits at any time,
    and you can permanently delete your entire account and all associated data from Profile → Privacy &
    Data. Deletion is permanent.

    Your rights

    Because your data is stored in the EU, you have GDPR rights including access, correction, export,
    deletion, and objection. Most can be exercised in the app; for anything else, contact us.

    Children

    Vesti is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not
    knowingly collect their data.

    Terms of Service

    Acceptance

    By creating an account or using Vesti, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't
    use the app. You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your country).

    The service & your account

    Vesti helps you catalogue clothes, build outfits, track wear, and get AI styling suggestions. You're
    responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account, and for providing accurate
    information.

    Your content

    Your photos, item details, and outfits remain yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to
    store, process, and display that content back to you and to operate the features you use. Don't upload
    content you don't have the right to use, or anything unlawful, infringing, or harmful.

    AI features

    AI suggestions, auto-tagging, and outfit ideas are provided for convenience and may be inaccurate — use
    your own judgement. AI features are subject to fair-use limits, which may change.

    Acceptable use

    Don't attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service; don't
    use it to violate the law or others' rights; and don't attempt to extract or abuse the AI system.

    Availability, disclaimers & liability

    We aim to keep the app available but don't guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may modify or
    discontinue features. The app is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by
    law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits consumer rights that can't
    be waived.

    Termination & changes

    You can stop using Vesti and delete your account at any time. We may suspend access for breaches of
    these terms. We may update these terms; significant changes will be reflected here with a new date.
